The well proven modem was designed as communication system providing robust data exchange via low voltage and medium voltage power lines under a wide range of climatic conditions. Its main application is distribution automation and transparent metering. The main advantage is its narrow frequency range allowing the usage of low cost capacitive signal couplers for voltage levels above 12kVAC.

The transmission speed of the modem supports a wide range of new applications through its flexible design; the CMM 75 is optimized for application as well as carrier medium. The implemented store and forward repeater allows the setup of extensive networks.

The product is designed for easy integration with RTU's, meters, automated switch gear and protection units.
